An 'In-Depth Look At The Surface' is the culmination of several years research, development, and perfection of Dakovic?s unique art practice. The exhibition consists of inflated sculptures, video, photographic and 2-D pieces. The latest series 'Hand Wash - Hang to Dry', 2010 are formal colour studies with a twist: they look chalky and vulnerable to the touch, but are actually washable with soap and water. Dakovic believes that the artist is intrinsically and sempiternally connected to the work they produce. Colour studies that appear to be painted onto skin are the ultimate expression of this bond.
